Join Dean and Libby for an Example-based and Interactive In-Person Public GD&T Seminar

All of our in-person public seminars include refreshments and lunch.
All of our courses also include well organized and complete reference materials at no extra cost.

Geometree XYZ Course #1
"Mechanical Drawing Practices" 1-Day Public Seminar
Learn about drawing views and how they're used, and line types, and drawing sheet sizes. We will cover American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) standards for drawings and for Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). This course also provides an introduction to GD&T terminology and concepts. Each participant will be provided with a pdf file of the book that may be printed for reference and note taking. "GD&T From A to Z with the Geometree" 3-Day Public Seminar
An introduction to all GD&T methods provided by ASME Y14.5-2018 with coverage of the differences in ASME Y14.5-2009 and ASME Y14.5M-1994. All participants will be provided with a workbook and reference book. Refreshments and lunch will be provided for each day of the seminar. Do you have any QUESTIONS about this course?

"GD&T Applications and Tolerance Stack Analysis" 1-Day Public Seminar
This course is especially helpful to clarify the terminology and concepts of GD&T that are learned in the GD&T Fundamentals course. Practical applications always help solidify the concepts of GD&T. We will also cover the determination of initial tolerance values and manual methods for 1D tolerance stack analysis. All participants will be provided with a book for reference and note taking. Refreshments and lunch will be provided. Do you have any QUESTIONS about this course?

"Measurement Data Reporting per ASME Y14.45" 2-Day Public Seminar
With many different data reporting methods used in industry, a document to define what data is needed for all of the various types of GD&T specifications is long overdue. ASME Y14.45-2021, titled "Measurement Data Reporting" provides those requirements. For this 16-hour course we will cover the three data reporting "Methods" included in the Y14.45 standard, and the data reporting practices for all of the commonly used GD&T specifications. It is likely that participants will say that this course surprised them by helping to clarify the concepts behind many of the tolerance specifications defined by ASME Y14.5. Converting the concepts of the Y14.5 standard to real measurement data is a step that requires a different sort of thinking than merely understanding what the particular tolerance specification means. Standardization in the data reporting is essential to enable the clear communication that is required between inspection, design and manufacturing. All participants will be provided with a pdf file that can be printed for reference and note taking. Do you have any QUESTIONS about this course?
